Tasso joins United Nations Global Compact
Tasso has joined the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest sustainability initiative, which focuses on ten universal principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption as well as the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals 2030 Agenda.

We are happy to announce that Tasso has joined the United Nations Global Compact. By becoming a part of the world’s largest sustainability initiative, Tasso commits to aligning policies and actions with the ten principles of the UN Global Compact and take actions that advance societal goals. With our pledge of support, Tasso is committing to adhere to this.

As participant in the UN Global Compact, we are committed to incorporating the initiative and its principles into our strategy and corporate culture – and communicating them to our employees, suppliers, partners, customers and the rest of our community. When we join the UN Global Compact, we not only commit to incorporating the ten principles, but we also have to showcase on an annual basis, what measurable actions have been carried out over the past year to support them.

Actions such as the signing of the United Nations Global Compact agreement are more than a mere declaration of intent; they demonstrate the direction of our company that intends not only to produce economic results but, above all, to be a social actor capable of improving the lives of communities.

“Joining the initiative reaffirms Tasso’s commitment to building the business around responsible and transparent practices. We perceive this important step as being a natural part of our sustainability journey and our strive to create cast iron for sustainable solutions of tomorrow”, says Kristian Bundgaard Pedersen, Managing Director.

We look forward to further engaging in collaborative projects and deepening our engagement with the UN Global Compact and its participants because we know that we cannot do what needs to be done alone.
