Tasso’s position on REACH describes how our processes ensure compliance with the European REACH regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals as well as similar regulation in our markets. The purpose of this regulation is to ensure high level protection of human health and the environment. This regulation enhances the industry’s responsibility to manage the risks from chemicals and to provide safety information on the substances present in various products.

Tasso’s position on RoHS describes how our processes ensure compliance with the rules on restriction of hazardous substance in EU. The purpose of the European Union Directive on the Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS) is to restrict the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.

Tasso’s position on Conflict Minerals describes how we exercise due diligence regarding the origin of tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold (3TG materials) in our supply chain and processes. We encourage our suppliers to exercise reasonable due diligence in the evaluation of their supply chains for compliance with the Dodd-Frank Act and Conflict Minerals Rule.

With reference to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, sanctions have been imposed on Russian supplied products following EU regulation No. 833/2014 & 2022/2474.
From Tasso side we can confirm that we are not affected and that the supply of our cast iron bar products as well as our supply chain are compliant.
